Alex Gotch is an award winning Director and Movement Director. ​

 

He was a Semi-Finalist in the European Opera Directing Prize 2025, and creates work internationally. He has worked with many companies  including -  Opera Comique, Garsington Opera, Longborough Festival Opera, Royal Opera House and English Touring Opera.

As well as directing, he is also a movement specialist who studied at London Contemporary Dance School, and later completed an MFA in Movement: Direction and Teaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. ​

As a Director he is passionate about bringing dynamic storytelling to the stage, and empowering artists to embody their full potential.   ​
